I have researched ancient written scripts for more than seven years. I am currently in my sixth year of Mandarin. I have analyzed the characters in many ancient languages in order to catalog linguistic universals. Comparing the relationship of the shape of written characters to the definitions given in lexicons and dictionaries highlights the prevalence of bilateral symmetry in words related to female mammals, and suggests that female mammals are the root of written language because they have the trinity: milk, offspring, and fun for males. Females are the world's first automation. Males need females in order to reproduce, and this need drove both writing and civilization.
